What a credit actually is
One credit is one US dollar of model usage. When you send a request, we deduct what that request genuinely cost — input tokens plus output tokens, at that model's own published rate.
There is no per-model markup, no premium tier that charges more for the same model, and no rounding in our favour. The only thing we add is a flat 10% platform fee on top-ups. That is the whole business model, and it is on the pricing page in the same words.
Which means the expensive models cost more and the cheap ones cost almost nothing, exactly as you would expect. A long conversation with a small fast model can run for a fraction of a cent. You are never paying a subscription for capacity you did not use.
Your credits last a year
Purchased credit is valid for 12 months from the day you buy it. It does not reset weekly, it does not expire at the end of a billing cycle, and it does not vanish if you go quiet for two months. You paid for it, so you keep it.
Every account also gets $0.50 of free credit daily, which refreshes every day whether you have bought anything or not. That pool is spent first — it is the one that disappears tomorrow — so your purchased balance is only touched once the free credit runs out.
Any balance unlocks every model
Some of the strongest models on the platform used to sit behind a Plus subscription. They no longer do.
Holding any purchased credit unlocks the Plus-exclusive models — Claude Opus, the frontier Gemini and GPT tiers, the premium image and video models. There is no separate unlock and no minimum: a ₹100 top-up opens the same catalogue a subscription does, and it stays open as long as you hold a balance.
Paying takes about twenty seconds
- Open Credits from your profile menu, or go straight to your credits.
- Type any amount from ₹100 up. There is no upper limit and no fixed packs to choose between.
- Pay with whatever you already use — scan the UPI QR with GPay, PhonePe or Paytm, or use a card, netbanking or a wallet.
Credits land in your balance within a few seconds of the payment clearing, and every top-up is itemised in your activity log alongside your usage, so you can always see where a credit went.
Where we are today
Payments are live in India, processed by Razorpay. Card payments from outside India are pending activation with our payment provider — when that lands, we will turn on dollar pricing and say so here. The free daily credit works everywhere in the meantime.
The Plus subscription has not gone anywhere either. It is still sold in the Mume AI mobile app and still grants credit every month. It is simply no longer required for anything.
