Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Mume AI (the "Application"), developed and operated by Muse Mesh Private Limited(the "Service Provider"). By using the Application, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Credit System

1.1 Overview

Mume AI uses a credit-based system for accessing AI models and features. Credits are consumed based on the actual cost of each interaction (input and output tokens).

1.2 Free Daily Allowance

  • Free accounts receive a daily allowance of $0.20 worth of credits, free of charge.
  • The allowance is granted when you return after the previous day's allowance has expired (24 hours). It does not accumulate: unused allowance is not carried into the next day.
  • The allowance can only be spent on chat models whose current catalogue price is at most $0.50 per million input tokens and $2.50 per million output tokens (the "flash shelf"). The model picker and each model's page show which models qualify. It never pays for image, video or audio generation.
  • No daily allowance is granted while any welcome, purchased or subscription credit on the account is still unspent.
  • A request that costs more than the remaining allowance may take the allowance negative. Once it is below −$1, requests are refused until the account is topped up.
  • We reserve the right to change the amount of the daily allowance, or the price bar for the flash shelf, at any time.

1.3 Purchased Credits

  • Users may purchase credits at any time, in any amount at or above the published minimum, without a subscription.
  • Purchased credits remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and expire at the end of that period if unused.
  • A purchase is credited when our payment provider confirms the payment. The amount of credit granted is determined by the published conversion rate and platform fee in effect at the time the order is created.
  • Holding a purchased credit balance grants access to Plus-exclusive models for as long as that balance remains.
  • We may limit the total value of credits a single account can purchase within a rolling 24-hour period.

1.4 Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and are governed by those stores' terms in addition to these.
  • A subscription grants credits at the start of each billing cycle.
  • Subscription credits expire at the next renewal and do not roll over.
  • Cancelling a subscription does not affect any purchased credits, which retain their own 12-month validity.

1.5 Credit Usage

  • Credits are used to access 300+ models from 50+ providers and features on the platform.
  • Each model has a different cost based on input and output token counts: (Model Input Cost × Input Tokens) + (Model Output Cost × Output Tokens).
  • Model pricing is set by Muse Mesh Private Limited and may vary.
  • Model prices are refreshed daily from upstream providers. A model may therefore move on or off the flash shelf, for example when a promotional price ends. The model picker and each model's page always reflect today's price.

1.6 Credit Properties

  • Credits are non-transferable between users.
  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of currency.
  • Credits have no value outside of the Application.
  • Attempting to sell, trade, or transfer credits is strictly prohibited.

1.7 Welcome Credit

  • Every new account receives $0.50 of welcome credit once. It can be spent on any model, including Plus-exclusive ones, and is valid for 12 months.
  • One welcome grant per person. A returning email address does not receive another, and any debt left on a previous account under the same email is carried over to the new one.

1.8 API Keys

  • Requests authenticated with an API key spend purchased credit only. They never draw on the daily allowance, welcome credit or subscription credit.
  • An API request with no purchased balance is refused with 402 purchased_credits_required. A Plus-exclusive model requested over the API without a purchased balance is refused with 403 plan_required.
  • The web chat, iOS and Android apps are not affected by this rule.

2. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Credits that have already been spent cannot be refunded, as the corresponding model usage has been incurred on your behalf.
  • For unspent purchased credits, contact kushal@muse-mesh.com with your order reference. Refunds are issued at our discretion to the original payment method.
  • Subscription refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own policies; we cannot issue them directly.
  • Users may cancel a subscription at any time but will not receive a refund for the current billing period.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

3. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% availability.
  • We are not liable for any interruptions or downtime that may prevent credit usage.
  • The selection of available AI models may change over time without prior notice.

4. Fair Usage

The free allowance and welcome credit exist so one person can try the Application. The following is treated as abuse:

  • Creating more than one account per person.
  • Signing up repeatedly to collect welcome credit again, including with alias, plus-addressed or disposable email addresses.
  • Automated or scripted signups.
  • Sharing, selling or renting accounts, credit or API keys.
  • Using the free allowance through scripts, bots or third-party tools at volume.
  • Any attempt to circumvent balance checks or pricing.

We run weekly reviews and automatic checks on repeat signups and negative balances. Accounts found abusing the free tier are disabled without prior notice, as described in Section 5. The full policy, and what to do if your account was disabled, is at mume.ai/fair-use.

5. Account Termination

  • We may disable an account without prior notice where we find a breach of Section 4 or of these Terms. Sign-in to a disabled account fails with an "account disabled" message.
  • Any unspent free allowance and welcome credit on a disabled account is forfeited.
  • A negative balance left on a disabled account follows the person to any new account under the same email address.
  • Purchases are not refunded where abuse is confirmed. No refunds are provided for unused credits upon account termination.
  • To appeal, email hello@mume.aifrom the account's email address, saying which account it is and what you were using it for. Genuine accounts are re-enabled, usually within a few days. There is no fee and no form. See mume.ai/fair-use.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The credit system, Application design, and functionality are the intellectual property of Muse Mesh Private Limited.
  • Users may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the Application.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • The Application and associated services are provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, credits or associated services.
  • Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the user for credits in the past month.

8. Third-Party Services

  • Credit usage may involve interaction with third-party AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).
  • We are not responsible for the performance or content of these third-party services.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to the credit system or Application will be resolved through arbitration, as outlined in these Terms of Service.

10. Taxes

Users are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees associated with credit purchases or subscriptions. Prices displayed may or may not include taxes, depending on the user's jurisdiction.

11. Age Restriction

Users must meet the minimum age requirement in their jurisdiction to use the Application and purchase credits or subscriptions. We reserve the right to request age verification.

12. Modifications

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
  • Your continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muse Mesh Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their use of the Application.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Muse Mesh Private Limited is a privately held company registered in India.
