Prompt Factory

Prompt Factory is a free idle tycoon game about running a very small, very ambitious AI startup. You start with nothing but a big orange Ship it button. Every tap brings in a little cash, and that cash hires your first intern with a laptop. Soon you have prompt engineers, agent swarms, GPU racks and data centres, and eventually a datacentre on the Moon. Your team earns money every second, even when the game is closed, so it is perfect for short check-ins while you wait for something else to finish.

How to play

• Tap Ship it for cash. Early on this is how you afford your first hires.
• Open the Team tab and buy producers. Each one earns a set amount per second, and each copy costs 15% more than the last.
• Owning 25, 50 and 100 of the same producer doubles its output each time, so it often pays to finish a set.
• Upgrades appear as you grow. Some double one producer, some link two producers together, and funding rounds raise all income.
• Shipped features are achievements. Every one adds 2% to all income for good.

While you were away

Close the tab and your startup keeps working. When you come back, a card shows what your team earned. Away earnings count for up to eight hours, which covers a good night of sleep, so the best rhythm is to check in a few times a day. You can watch a short ad on that card to double the amount, or watch one at any time for double income over the next 30 minutes.

Events

While the game is open, surprises pop up over the factory. A viral demo triples your income for a minute. An outage needs five quick taps, and the faster you fix it the bigger the bonus. An angel investor hands you a cheque worth a few minutes of income. Missing an event never costs you anything.

Pivoting

Once you have earned enough in one run, you can Pivot: the company starts again from zero with a new idea, and you collect Vision points that boost all future income by 25% each. Earning more before you pivot gives more Vision. Your second run is much faster than the first.

Idle strategy tips

Spend at every check-in, because money sitting in the bank earns nothing. Compare the price of a new producer with what it adds per second, and remember that newer tiers usually pay back fastest. Push towards the next milestone when you are close, since a doubling is often worth more than several fresh hires. Buy the Pitch deck upgrade if you like tapping, take angel cheques whenever they appear, and check in before bed so the eight-hour window is working for you overnight.
