About Yaarcade

Yaarcade is a small games site built for the way most people play now: a few minutes on a phone, on the bus, in a queue, between classes. Every game runs in the browser, works with touch, mouse or keyboard, and remembers where you left off. We started in India and play is free everywhere.

9 of them have a daily mode: the same puzzle for everyone each day, with a fresh one at midnight on your own clock. Daily Word and Word Search also come in Hindi, played with whole aksharas instead of single letters: शब्द and शब्द खोज.

How the site works

• No sign-up. There are no accounts. Your scores, streaks and saved games are kept in your own browser, so they stay on that device.
• Ads pay for it. Yaarcade is free because of advertising. Ads only appear at natural breaks, such as between levels or after a game, never in the middle of a move. Some games offer an optional ad in exchange for a hint or an extra life; you can always skip it.
• Made here. The games are written for Yaarcade. Word lists and puzzles come from openly licensed sources or are generated by us, and every page explains the rules in plain language.
